Intended Use
Vacuum urine tubes, urine/specimen containers, and transfer devices work together to collect, transport, process, and test urine in clinical laboratories.
The clinical laboratory does not use additive tubes for collecting, transporting, processing, or testing urine specimens for chemical urinalysis.
Conical-based urine tubes are utilized for the microscopic evaluation of urine sediment.

Intended use
The Vacuum Urine Tubes, Urine/Specimen Containers, and Urine Transfer Devices are used together as a system for the collection,
transport, processing and testing of urine in the clinical laboratory.
No Additive Tubes are used for the collection, transport, processing and testing of urine specimens for chemical urinalysis in the
clinical laboratory. Conical Based Urine Tubes are used for microscopic examination of urine sediment.
Procedure for transferring the urine into Vacuum Urine Tubes
* WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING URINE COLLECTION TUBES TO MINIMIZE EXPOSURE HAZARD.
-When transferring samples to Vacuum Urine Tubes, considering the following situations:
-When using a Urine/Specimen Container with screw cap and Urine Transfer Device:
Open the container and submerge the tip of the Urine Transfer Device into the urine specimen.
-When using a Urine/Specimen Container with Needle:
Peel back the safety label on lid of the container to expose the needle.
-Insert the vacuum urine tube vertically and quickly to the needle. Ensure that the needle is fully piercing the stopper of the
urine tube. Urine will flow into the tube automatically in accordance to the pre-defined vacuum.
*If no urine flows into the tube or if urine flow ceases before an adequate sample is collected, the following steps are
suggested to complete satisfactory collection:
-Push the tube down until the tube cap has been fully pierced. Always hold in place by pressing the tube with the
thumb to ensure complete vacuum draw.
-If urine still does not flow, remove the tube and place a new tube into the transfer device
-Turn the tube from which the urine sample has been collected up.
For the containers, considering the following situations:
-When using a Urine/Specimen Container:
Well closed the lid of the container.
-When using a Urine/Specimen Container with Needle:
Put the safety label back onto the lid to reseal the needle.
-Transport to laboratory immediately.
– Proper storage and preservation of urine samples should be ensured during the entire process.

Why does my tracking info still say “Label Created, but not yet in the system”?
If you ordered through USPS, your label may not appear in their system for up to three days after they receive the package. The same thing can happen with FED Ex orders, despite the fact that they almost always appear in their system the night before they are dispatched. Am I guaranteed to receive “Next Day Air” the next day?
FED EX uses ‘business’ days (Monday-Friday) for making air deliveries, so you’ll get your package the next ‘business’ day after it’s been shipped. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. EST are not shipped the same day, therefore Next Day orders placed after 3:00 p.m. will be shipped the next business day.
Why can’t I check the tracking of my package?
Within one business day of placing your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number. It’s possible that you didn’t receive this email because it was entered improperly, forwarded to your spam folder, or was blocked. If you have not received this email, please contact us by phone or email and we will gladly update you on the progress of your shipment.
I placed an order but I no longer need It. Can I return it and get a refund?
Returns for unused items are accepted as long as they are placed within 30 days of the purchase date. If the shipping is free at the time of order, we will incur a cost for each order that is dispatched, and you will be repaid the value of your order once we receive the returned goods, minus the shipping costs.
