“Kratom” are plant-based chemical compounds produced by the leaves of Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa), which is a tree species indigenous to Southeast Asia. How is testing done using Kratom Urine Test Device Cartridge?
- Collect urine specimen for testing.
- Remove the Kratom cartridge from the protective packaging.
Caution:
- Do not do this until you are ready to perform the test because extended exposure to light and air will damage the cartridge.
- If the cartridge remains unused an hour after its removal, it must already be discarded.
- Don’t touch the strip membrane to avoid contamination and invalidation of results.
- Hold the Kratom test strip where the product name is printed.
- Carefully place the testing strip into the cup holding the urine specimen in a vertical position. Do not immerse the strip past the MAX line on the testing strip.
- Allow the strip to absorb as much of the sample as possible, immersing the membrane in the specimen for 15 seconds.
- Read the urine test strip results after five minutes and not later than 10 minutes; otherwise, the test will be discarded.
How is the test result interpreted?
- If a single colored band appears on the membrane in the control (C) region, the test is positive.
- If two colored bands appear on the membrane, one in the control region and another in the test region, the test is negative.
- If the colored band fails to appear, discard the cartridge and do the test all over again.
